Ramawat Group was established in the year 1988 in Jaipur under the guidance of founder and chairman Babu Das Ramawat. The journey began with Asia’s biggest canal project — the Rajasthan Canal Project, previously the Indira Gandhi Canal — and the group went on to become a leading player in the construction industry of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Who we are
Within a short span, the group added new dimensions by erecting wind turbines in remote locations of Rajasthan and Gujarat. In 2011 it went a mile further, completing solar projects of 400 MW including land area development.
The intent has stayed consistent: transform construction through technology, quality and innovation while ensuring timely delivery, and develop world class infrastructure in India with a focus on commercial and residential units in the urban landscape.
Today
That construction depth is now offered to landowners as a single professional service. You keep the land. RIPRO manages feasibility, planning, approvals, design, construction, marketing, sales and handover.
The journey we have made
Canals to campuses.
1988
Constructed canal aqueducts and a state road bridge in remote Rajasthan.
1999
Erected a boundary wall for B.S.F. premises, Jaisalmer, for the Central Public Works Department.
2004
Turbines were erected in the desert areas of Rajasthan and the salty areas of Gujarat.
2011
Completed a solar power project of 400 MW with land development, boundary, control room and allied works.
2012
Ventured into the energy sector with construction of pylon RCC foundations, and thermal project work at a cement plant.
2013
Took a further step into urban residential construction with 1,600 units of construction in Jaipur, with groups like Anukampa, Kedia, Cedar and Trimurti.
2015
Started the dream project of constructing individual houses, to provide affordable housing for everyone.
2025
Looking forward to making a difference in the industry with more challenging projects like a medical college, the Grand Hyatt hotel project, and many such commercial and industrial projects.
